The house is converted to the highest standards,as a holiday home, set in a tiny hamlet of ten houses in South West France. Our visitors say it has a homely feeling about it, unlike impersonal hotels.The house is completely secluded, set in two acres of gardens and woods, and surrounded by vineyards producing wine, cognac, and our local aperitif pineau des charentes, made from a mixture of the two.

There is a large well equipped kitchen/dining room and a spacious lounge for relaxing. There is a shower room and wc on the ground floor and a further en-suite shower room on the first floor. Guests can enjoy the pool, games room and stone built summer house.

Simoussais is just north of the picturesque market town of Surgeres with its choice of bars and restaurants offering everything from good local food to gourmet dining.
