The village of Mouronho is within easy walking distance and has many amenities including a Chemist, Post Office, Butchers and a small General Store. There is also a Bar. There are many beautiful walks within the area including a 3 km trek to the River Alva, there you can find one of the pretty river beaches used locally for bathing.

Accomodation is a restored, 2 bedroom stone cottage.

The cottage is fully equiped and has a 6m x 10m swimming pool. It has beautiful views of the mountains from all of the garden. We are 50 metres from the village square which has bars, resturants, supermarkets for your everyday needs, also WiFi internet access and an ATM. The cottage is set in traditional Portuguese village. We also have a 1 bed studio cottage available at same location.
