About Us

4U2-Rent was started in 2005 by Alan Andrews and Fran Stary, two ex-IT professionals and holiday home owners. Having spent years working for others, we decided to use our professional expertise, and experience as holiday home owners and renters, to create 4U2-rent.

We launched the site in May 2007 with a commitment to maintaining a web site that allows renters to locate quickly the quality property they require for their holiday needs, while providing owners with a mechanism to create good looking adverts containing comprehensive information that market their properties effectively.

Our ethos is straight-forward and non-gimmicky. We believe that our site's functionality should speak for itself. Using our technical expertise we have created what we believe to be one of the best property searches on the net.

On going, we would obviously like the number of our advertisers to grow, as this provides our visitors with choice. However, our priority is to ensure that our existing advertisers stay. To do this we know we must provide cost effective advertising that yields the required numbers of bookings. Be assured we won't be passing on the cost of unnecessarily gimmicky advertising or glitzy presentation - our sites WOW factor comes from our adverts. Some time ago we became Invitation Only to start to build a reputation as a site that only advertises good quality properties. As we grow, we plan to restrict the number of properties being advertised at any one location to ensure that none of our owners constantly appears at the bottom of a long list of search results.
