The house is on the edge of the village of La Jousselinière near to Ste Hermine & La Caillere in Southern Vendée. There are two ensuite bedrooms and the house sleeps up to 5 guests. The lovingly restored house is well equipped & available to rent throughout the year. It is set in a peaceful orchard and is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. A great location for exploring the countryside and coast of the Vendée.

The Property
The house is well equipped and decorated to a high standard. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner and small utility room and separate toilet. The lounge has two large sofas, a dining table & 6 chairs, a TV, DVD, video, CD player and radio. The Kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, microwave, and a dishwasher. The utility room has a fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
The first floor has two bedrooms; one with double bed and the other with two single beds. Both bedrooms are en-suite and have a TV and storage. A third single bed and cot are also available to use in the twin bedroom.
The outside area has a private patio with a table with comfy chairs and there is also a private garden area with BBQ and sun loungers. The private garden is surrounded by a larger garden and orchard where you can relax or have a picnic. There is also a table tennis table, French boules and a set of swings to keep the children amused.

Fontenay-le-Comte is a town of art & history which lies midway between the Poitou Marshes & the Forest of Mervent. The city has retained its beautiful architecture, & has a particularly relaxed pace of life. The town has plenty of shops, bars & restaurants.
The port of La Rochelle has a wonderful array of shops & boutiques. The harbour side spoils you for choice of restaurants & there is a large Sunday market. The city has a rich historical heritage & wonderful museums.
Les Sables d’Olonne reflects all the retro atmosphere of the seaside fishing ports & marinas.
Le Puy du Fou is one of France’s leading historical theme parks - by day it is a fun way to explore history & by night it is a unforgettable evening's entertainment in which 1200 amateur actors narrate the saga of Vendée.
There are many beaches within an hour's drive of the house such as the fine sandy beaches of La Tranche-Sur-Mer, La Faute-Sur-Mer & L’Aiguillon-Sur-Mer.
There are 5 18 Golf Courses in The Vendee such as the Golf de la Domangere au Nesmy & The Golf de Port Bourgenay.
Sea, lake & river fishing are all available in the area.

Reservations are from Saturday to Saturday during high and peak season, however we are able to be more flexible with start and end dates of holiday out of season. We are also able to accept long weekend breaks, short stays and long winter lets.
A security deposit of £100 is required for each booking and a 30% deposit is required to secure the reservation, with the remaining 70% balance being paid 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date.
