A spacious mountain property in the traditional mountain village of Bareges, at 1250m altitude. Situated on the edge of the Pyrenees National Park and the Neouvielle Nature Reserve, and just beneath the famous Col du Tourmalet.  
 
The house has been completely renovated, with 6 large en-suite bedrooms, to sleep up to 14 people. There is a sauna, heated equipment room, dining room and lounge with bar, wood-stove, books & games and big-screen home cinema. In Summer, take advantage of our sunny patio garden and join us for a cold beer or BBQ with mountain views! 
 
We serve excellent French-style home-cuisine, including specialities of the region.  
 
Bareges is a spa village, with bars, restaurants, a small supermarket, bakery, butchers and of course the thermal baths. Part of the Bareges-La Mongie (Tourmalet) ski station, which is the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees with over 100km of pistes. You can ski home to the village most weeks of the Winter season, and free ski buses run 50m from our house. Other Winter activities include snowshoeing and ski touring.  
 
In the Summer, we are ideally located for mountain walking, cycling, mountain biking and adventure sports including paragliding, caving, canyoning, white water rafting, via ferrata, pony trekking and more! We can arrange activities as part of your stay.  
 
Guided walking, snowshoeing and multi activity adventure holidays are also available.
