Saffron House is a four bedroomed villa situated in quiet quarter of village of Regusse close to Verdon Gorge and larger town of Aups. Two double bedrooms, one twin bedded and one four bedded room make the ideal flexibility to accommodate more than one family. Above ground pool available for cooling off, large bar-b-que and ample seating for up to eight people. Cot and highchair available.

The Property
Peace and tranquility, privacy and space make this an ideal family holiday location. Close to the centre of Regusse, a pretty village with a wonderful bakers shop for that fabulous fresh bread breakfast and a large supermarket with 24 hour petrol, post office with cash point and village outdoor swimming pool during July and August or the local markets on Sundays, make this a fantastic area to spend your holiday. Within easy drive is the beautiful Verdon Gorge and Lac St Croix where you can spend the day relaxing by the lake or taking an electric boat ride up the Gorge to enjoy a picnic. Return to Saffron House for that last cooling dip in the above ground pool or relax on the terrace with a glass of wine enjoying the magnificent sunset.

Utility room housing washing machine and drinks fridge. Kitchen has larder fridge with top freezer box for small amounts of frozen food only. There is also an electric kettle and toaster.

*** Regusse is a typical pretty Provence style French village with all of the amenities to make your self catering holiday a memorable one such as a large supermarket, shops, outdoor swimming pool and restaurants.
The village is situated approx 50 miles north of St Tropez between Aix en Provence and Draguinan. It is within 30 minutes drive of the Lac de Saint Croix where there are water based activities. Just ten minutes drive from the house is the beautiful Gorges du Verdon and Quinsen where you can drive an electric boat, go kayaking, canoeing or pedalo up the gorge.
The much larger Verdon Gorge is at the tip of the Saint Croix Lake and is the highest
gorge in Europe, scenery is spectacular. Lazy days can be spent on the shores of the lake where you can safely swim in the turquoise waters. The beautiful porcelain making village of Moustier Saint Marie with its church perched on the cliffs is a must on the visitor trail and is at the head of the Saint Croix Lake.
A market is held every Sunday morning in Regusse and on Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a much larger market in nearby Aups.
This area of Provence is ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors. It is the perfect cycling, walking and running area. A car is essential to explore the area but most attractions are within an easy drive from the accommodation.

We have cycles for four people available at the house and our large garden and grounds have French boules and garden games to keep all of the family occupied. If you just want to relax in the glorious climate our hammocks in the trees are a firm favourite with everyone!
