The house which dates back to the Arabic times was tastefully restored some 14 years ago retaining most of it's original features. The Property

 
Casa Perla is situated in the centre of a small moorish hamlet of 12 properties, 6 of which are let for rural tourism. This is a rural area but reached with easy access by car 1km up a small tarmac road from the A356. Ten minutes walk down though almonds and olive groves to the lake with two good restaurants/bars and delicatessen. Los Romanes, the nearest village 10 mins walk [3min drive]up above the hamlet, has a one of the best restauants in the area, a bar, two small shops and olive oil mill.  
 
This beautiful house set out on 5 levels; Entrance from the street into Kitchen/Breakfast Room, up to Living Area, down into Dining/Living room with cast iron wood fire. French door to Covered Terrace and Walled Sunken Garden, with lake and mountain views. From living area up to Twin Bedroom with Onsuite Bathroom. Located in the tranquil rural Alta Axaquia area of Andalucia which still remains unspoilt by commercial tourism but can be reached by the new road in approximately one hour from Malaga or Granada international airports, 20 minutes to the coast and golf course at Torre del Mar, 15 minutes to the historic market town of Velez Malaga. 
 
An ideal base for: culture visits to Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga; driving the old routes between the traditional white villages (pueblos blancos). Walking the paths through rugged high mountains (sierras). Or just relax on your private terrace and around the pool.
