Spend your holidays in a country farm in Umbria, near Tuscany. You can stay in our typical apartments and enjoy a relaxing farm holiday while being close enough to visit the city of Perugia, Assisi and its surroundings. The farmhouse is in the beautiful heart of the Umbria valley, Italy.Six independent apartments have been restored around the ancient stone house, which go back to 17th century.

The Property
 
The country farm"la volpe e l'uva" is an agricultural farm in the heart of the Umbria region. 
On 2000, the farm became property of our family and we started a process of restoration of the building and agrarian patrimony with particular care to the wine and olive oil area. 
 
The farmhouse is composed by five independent apartments recently restored: Paulownia, Rocco, Oca, Fico, Riding (bilo-apartments) and Chiocciola (mono-apartment). 
The apartments have gardens, swimming pool, play area for children, open barbecue. The apartments are simply furnished, offering a comfortable stay in the countryside at a working farm. 
 
The farm is surrounded by vineyards and olive trees and which house the production center of the farm's products. The farmhouse apartments are all perfectly restored, each one with private entrance and common garden. Inside they are tastefully furnished with TV and their single unit heating system. 
 
The historic center of Perugia is only 4 km away from the farm. Here, you'll find good restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets. Assisi is just 15, Gubbio 28km; Assisi and Spello 15km; Trasimeno Lake 20km; Todi and Orvieto, 45km.

The farm produces and sells wine, olive oil, jams, fruit syrups and dried fruit. 
The farmhouse is at north of Perugia, just outside of the ancient medioeval walls. In this direction there are not outskirts, so you can go directly from the historic centre of Perugia to the country side.  
It is in a hilly position, very near to the main Umbrian localities (Gubbio 28km; Assisi and Spello 15km; Trasimeno Lake 20km; Todi and Orvieto, 45km).

Weekly rent: minimum 250 euro ;maximum 690 euro 
The prices include water, electricity, final cleaning service, linens (bedrooms, bathrooms and table). 
Extra: Heating (on consuption). Baby bed €8 per day. Extra change of linen and towels € 10 per person. 
Extra cleaning of the apartment € 30. 
During Summer - (1/06-30/09) - rental is on weekly basis, from Saturdayto Saturday; check in after three o’clock p.m. and check out before ten o’clock a.m. 
During other times of the year minimum stay is two nights. 
 
To confirm your booking we will let you know the details to send us the 30% of total amount.

Cooking classes : Spend a fabulous holiday, either a fun filled 4 days or a full week at the country farm "la volpe e l'uva" in the heart of Umbria, very near to Tuscany. Just north of Perugia close to Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, Todi , Orvieto, Siena and Cortona. The farm is surrounded by rolling hills, vineyards, olive trees and Etruscan and Medieval history. Raffaella the owner of the farm, is waiting you to offer you an unique holiday opportunity. 
 
Cooking lessons: Learn to cook authentic Italian dishes in an informal and friendly environment where you will learn the passion of the Italian kitchen and have fun doing it. A comprehensive hands-on cookery class given by a teacher who will teach you to make splendid Italian three course lunches covering all the basic Italian cooking techniques. saladWe can vary our menu to suit vegetarian diets and to accommodate food allergies or other restrictions. 
 
Cooking tours : Take day trips to taste extra virgin olive oils, pecorino cheese, Umbrian wines and to visit the some artistic cities in Umbria and Tuscany. For all the tours we will give you car and car driver expert in touristic services.
