The Property
This romantic old property dating we believe from the 17th. century, has been renovated to a very high standard and opened in March 2007. It is flanked on one side of the farmyard by a thatched barn and on the other by a traditional 17th century Kentish farmhouse. Flint Cottage has been awarded a four star rating by the English Tourist Board.
The centrally heated accommodation is open plan and comprises a bedroom with a Queen size double bed, a lounge with sofa, easy chair, coffee table, TV/DVD player, Radio/CD, fully equipped Kitchenette/Diner with Electric Oven & Gas Hob, Microwave, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer, Sink and drainer. There is a separate luxury bathroom with shower area, bath, washbasin and w.c. A washing machine/dryer is also situated in this room.
Outside, between the cottage and the thatched barn, there is a small paved garden area with garden furniture and a barbecue.
Bedlinen and towels are included in the rental. Electricity and Gas are free of charge in the summer, but in the winter a weekly charge of £15.00p. applies.
Parking for one car is provided on hard standing next to the cottage
We regret that, as this is a working farm with sheep and horses, we cannot accommodate pets.
