A light spacious apartment with views over the Solway Firth awaits you. Furnished to a high standard, comfort is assured. Situated in a tranquil village, you have easy access to the fells, with Loweswater just 2 miles away. The market town of Cockermouth is only 10 mins away, with many sites of interest to visit; including Wordsworth's Birthplace and the famed Jennings Brewery Tour. 
 
The apartment is fully carpeted and boasts digital TV, DVD player and CD stereo with cassette/ radio. The kitchen is equipped with freezer and fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and electric cooker. A welcoming cast iron gas fired stove is there to warm you on chilly evenings. Outside you have use of our shared courtyard with picnic tables. 
 
Nearby you will find several local eateries and pubs. The Kirkstile Inn, a 16th century coaching house, nestling under Melbreck in Loweswater, offers home-brewed ales and locally sourced food. Also try the Royal Yew in Dean, a very good meal at reasonable prices.
