Wondering where to stay in Dorset? If hotel accommodations are too confining and bed and breakfast inns too inflexible, perhaps self catering is the answer. Visitors to the West County looking for the comforts of home and the charm of English country cottages will find White Horse Farm the ideal lodging solution.
Located in the tiny village of Middlemarsh about 6 miles south of the market town of Sherborne and about 10 miles north of the county town of Dorchester on the A352, White Horse Farm is owned and operated by Stuart and Audrey Winterbottom. Once a working farm, the farmhouse and barn have been renovated and repurposed as comfortable holiday cottages.
On arrival, all guests of White Horse Farm are welcomed with a delicious homemade cake, baked by Audrey, and tea, coffee, sugar, milk and free range eggs are provided.
