The Property

The Villa has its own garage with electronically operated door for parking 2 cars, and you enter via a “video doorman” system into the front terrace. Passing through the lovely double wooden doors, you come into the entry vestibule, from which you can access the lounge, kitchen, the second en-suite bedroom and the guest bathroom, and the stairs to the upper level.

The ultra-modern kitchen is separate, except for a serving hatch, and has every modern appliance imaginable; all of the fixed appliances are made by Bosch, and are fitted into the high class floor and wall units, topped by granite worktops.

The hallway takes you past the guest toilet, to the lovely second bedroom, which has of course built in wardrobes, and an en suite with bath and shower over. There are patio doors to the rear of the property, looking out to the golf course, the Atlantic and the neighbouring island of La Gomera.

Also off the vestibule is the fabulous lounge with seven metres of windows and patio doors looking over the golf course, the Ocean and up to three of the other islands, offering the most magnificent view imaginable. The lounge is furnished with luxurious leather suites with recliners for relaxation, dining area with extendable table and leather chairs, and a magnificent 42 inch plasma TV, with multi satellite programming programs, including BBC1, BBC2, ITV and Channel 4. Internet connection is also available at the luxury Villa.

Moving upstairs, on the right is the third bedroom, which has a wardrobe and double bed, and for those who suddenly find their party increased to seven, there is a handy additional single bunk bed.

Notes on Facilities:
For golfers, the course at Adeje is one of the best in the Canary Islands, and certainly the most picturesque. There is the eighteen hole, par 72, 6,783 yards Championship course, and also a par 32, nine hole course at Adeje, and there are four other golf courses within 20 minutes, Golf del Sur (twenty-seven holes), Amarilla Golf, Golf Las Americas, and the brand new course at Abama. There are also two courses on the North of the island, and if you feel a bit adventurous, you can take the fast catamaran to La Gomera (35 minutes) and play the fantastic golf course at La Tecina.

For the rest of us, Tenerife offers every sport and pastime imaginable, snorkeling, scuba diving, whale and dolphin spotting, tennis, squash, numerous spas, you name it, we’ve got it! And when you’ve had enough of all that, you can just sunbath 52 weeks of the year in what must be the world’s most gentle climate, where daytime temperatures rarely exceed 30ºC in summer and rarely drop below 22º in winter.

Additional Information

Originally the Canaries were only a winter sun destination, but the combination of warm sunshine and fantastic modern holiday development, has put the islands on the map 12 months of the year.

Tenerife is dominated by the giant snow capped volcano Mount Teide, which at 3,700m high is Spain's highest peak. This will be the first sight you see when flying in, and it never ceases to take your breath away!

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands and it has some fantastic lava landscapes in places. There are 2 climates on the Island, separated Mount Teide. In the north, it is cool and lush and in the south, the sun beams down and it is almost desert like. This cultural island has many things to do and see.

The main resorts are in the South – Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos, where you can lounge on the beach by day and at night either enjoy a quiet meal or visit a bar or disco. You can also catch a boat trip to see whales and dolphins or go on a jeep safari tour of the inner Island.

Nextdoor, is the much quieter Costa Adeje, which is great for families, with shops, restaurants and good quality hotels to choose from. Also great for Golfers, is the Costa Adeje golf course, with fabulous sea views – the 2003 Spanish Open was held here.

Playa de Santiago is a traditional fishing port with a small, black beach (yes, the beaches are black or shingle here, being a volcanic Island), backed by huge cliffs.

La Caleta is a tropical paradise – a cove surrounded by banana plantations. It has a tranquil, shingle beach.

Opened in 2003, Tenerife is now home to the spectacular ‘Auditorio de Tenerife’ in Santa Cruz – the Islands Capital. The Concert Hall was designed by Santiago Calatrava and houses the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra. They also hold Opera, pop, jazz, rock and ballet concerts. Santa Cruz is also full of history and heritage.

Things to do on the include vsiiting Las Canadas National Park, excellent watersports, golf, hiking, cycling, caving, a boat trip to see the whales and Dolphins, La Gomera Island or Los Gigantes cliffs, Spa’s, Casino’s, and a visit to the town of Orotava, where wines are produced. Loro Park in Peurto de la Cruz is definitely worth a visit – a lovely wildlife park.
Flights to Tenerife from the UK just over 4 hours, landing at the Reina Sofia International airport in the south of the island, or Los Rodeos airport in the north.
