This large Country house nestles in a tranquil hamlet in SW France, not far from lovely Agen. Delightful gardens border the River Garonne. A further terrace surrounds the first floor, with super river views. Cool off in our pool (6.5m round by 1.3m high). Boules pitch, tennis/volley ball courts in village. The local area is perfect for long walks and cycle trips. Bicycles are provided and a path passing the property leads to pleasant tracks along the river to the Canal du Midi. markets. From the downstairs lounge and bedrooms, French doors lead to the vine covered terrace and a large outdoor area with the very large French style table; under the superb vines (help yourself to some grapes) which cover the entire terrace providing an inviting opportunity to relax late into the warm summer nights with outside dining or sunbathing. Listen to the sound of the cedillas on the warm nights of beautiful sunsets with fine views and total peace and quiet. The owner is a keen gardener. Watch the barges coming to the ‘lock’ 7 minutes cycle ride. Enjoy one of France's favourite games in our ‘petanque area. New "voie vert" 80 kilometres cycle along the canal du midi.

Lot et Garonne is a fantastic area of South West France with great scenery and lots of places to visit and enjoy. Near all attractions and amenities for the young and older visitors. From the house a small cycle track (60 metres) leads to a new cycle track which borders the Canal de Midi and stretches from Toulouse to Bordeaux. There are 3 sun terraces, next to large stone/stainless steel BBQ. For keen fishermen we own the land across the road steps completed down to the Garonne River. A super large stainless steel barbecue within an attractive stone setting. Sunloungers and garden furniture are provided. There is ample parking for 5/6 cars, and several bicycles are available to guests.
Cycle to Canal du Midi (300 metres away) and enjoy the fabulous new cycle track(opened in 2007) that goes for miles along which you can watch the barges passing.
