*** Our duplex apartment at Al Andalus Thalassa is built on a new development a few minutes from the coast in the Costa del Almeria region of Andalucia in southern Spain. Our property is in Vera Playa near the towns of Mojacar and Vera. 
Almeria offers a blend of golden sandy beaches, picturesque national parks, rugged mountainous scenery and towns and villages which retain a Spanish way of life and authentic charm. 
 
Vera, a large traditional Spanish town, is a stones throw away. Mojácar is a 10 minute drive and the attractive fishing villages of Garrucha and Villaricos are only 5 minutes away. Mojacar Pueblo is positioned in the foot hills of the Sierra Cabrera with relaxing bars, restaurants and local curios. Mojacar Playa is very vibrant with many restaurants, tapas bars, shops and local stores. Many have popular local markets while Garrucha is known especially for its wholesale fish market and quality seafood restaurants. 
 
For the golfers amongst us, Al Andalus Thalassa affords easy access to the best courses in the area. So, whether you are young or mature, searching for a family beach holiday, a golf or walking break, or simply looking to get away from it all, an Almeria holiday offers something for everyone - even skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountains and the largest naturist resort in Spain! 
 
There are 2 large supermarkets close by, Mercadona and Consum. The Consum is located in the Hispanic Centre housing the very popular and reasonable priced Wok Buffet plus an Internet Cafe. Behind this building are various restaurants, bars and cafes which are all within a 15 minute walk from the property. 
 
Each of the local villages host a colourful and typically Spanish local market on a different day of the week. For children there is the water park at Vera open between May and September providing great fun and value for money. Sea enthusiasts can enjoy diving in the bays around the Cabo de Gata, water skiing, windsurfing or boat trips on the Mediterranean.

20% non-refundable deposit required when booking/balance payable 8 weeks prior to scheduled arrival. Full holiday cost payable on booking if booked within 8 weeks of scheduled arrival. A £100 security deposit is payable with balance/deposit refundable on return to UK assuming full compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Hire. Terms and Conditions of Hire provided at time of booking.

Safe Environment: 
Al Andalus Thalassa is a private gated development and therefore provides a safe environment for children. A parking space is allocated in a designated bay outside the property. Further parking available directly outside the development.  A travel cot and highchair are available if required. Welcome packs can be provided (small charge) if you plan to arrive late into the evening. 
 
Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: 
Towels and linen are provide. For 2 week bookings, towels and linen will be changed after 7 days. The property will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival and at the end of your stay. 
 
Golf
Al Andalus Thalassa affords easy access to the best golf courses in the area. With an average of 322 days of sunshine per year and the fact that this is the driest area in Spain, the region provides golfers with perfect conditions for playing the game over the winter/spring seasons.
