The main ground floor entrance has double doors and no step access to the lounge, kitchen, dining area, one bedroom and the pool deck. The villa spreads over 4 floor levels.
We regularly spend time there with small children without difficulty. Having said that a good level of supervision is required with toddlers as some of the balconies are high and the pool is open access. Baby gates are available to seal off the ground floor from above and below.
A cot is available, as is a two seat small child dining table.
Smoking is discouraged inside, apart from the top floor bar. There is no restriction outside - and that is what tropical holidays are all about!

Conveniently located for a number of 5 star hotels, all with great restaurants, bars and spas: the Four Seasons Resort, The Passage, The Royal Meridien Ban Taling Ngam Resort, Nikki Beach, Mai Samui Beach Resort; a Kite Boarding Asia Centre, plus a wealth of romantic Thai Beachside Restaurants. Nathon, the capital, is a few minutes drive-where you will find a general hospital, banks, tourist police, supermarkets ( inc.Tesco!) and great tourist shopping opportunities.
Koh Samui is a small island that takes around one hour to drive around, so all activities are reasonably close. There are now three golf courses, two within 15 minutes, and many beach restaurants within a few minutes. A Kiteboarding Asia centre is within two minutes. The number of fun activities is constantly increasing, from Football Golf to Waterball rides! Nightlife is available in nearby luxury hotels and a more lively scene can be found in Maenan, a ten minutes drive, Fishermans village is about 15 minutes and the very lively nightclubs and bars of Chaweng are around 20-25 minutes drive. Perhaps catch a Songtow from the main road or order a cab!
Whilst the villa is near to many amenities it is necessary to have transport available to enjoy your stay.
