Horse-riding, fishing, 4X4, quad, hot air balloon, wild water rafting but also cycling are just examples of the numerous possibilities. But this is also a region of culture. Visiting the beautiful city of Pau, you'll have the occasion to discover the famous castle of Gascon king, Henri IV.  
Oloron Sainte Marie, only 15min away, is equally well worth a visit. On the pilgrim route to Saint James of Compostela, it is a quaint little town with 2 rivers, many churches and cathedrals full of history, as well as the Lindt chocolate factory and its delicious smells! 
 
Being in the South West of France is definitely a unique opportunity to experience the Béarnais and Basque specialities, you should definitely try all the local delicacies, they're delicious!
