Florence, Sienna, Assisi, Arezzo are all within easy reach and fascinating C13 hilltop towns to visit. Good restaurants abound and delicious dinners can be supplied in house + babysitting. There are excellent shops and a market in Sansepolcro 20mins away and Anghiari 10mins away is a jewel. In the summer there are many local festivals, with historical displays, musical and culinary events,and antique fairs.
