Markwell farm is 1.5 miles away from the A38 and Landrake village.(About 5 miles from the Tamar Bridge.) We are in a quiet location but within easy reach of all that Cornwall has to offer.
The sandy beaches of Seaton and Whitsand bay are a short drive away. The towns of Looe and Polperro are about 10 miles away. There are several National Trust houses and gardens locally. The Eden Project is about 40 minutes drive. Padstow, on the North coast, is about an hours drive.
Horse riding, golf, swimming, boat trips are all available nearby.
Markwell farm is a 400 acre working farm with beef cattle, sheep and cereals crops. The farm is open for visitors to walk round and enjoy. We are bordered by the River Tiddy and the River Lynher which are tributeries of the River Tamar. We also have 2 large ponds on the farm which are stocked with carp. These are available for visitors to fish (subject to the necessary licenses).
The Buller's Arms in Landrake village serves food and there is also a shop/po in the village.
