*** Situated a few minutes from the market town of Eymet, a centuries old town and close to many famous cultural/historic attractions of the area, you are assured of a comfortable and tranquil holiday and yet will still find lots of interesting sites to visit and things to do. Labarthe consists of 4 properties which surround a large central yard at the end of a 250 metre private drive off of the D25 road to Eymet. The main house is occupied by the owners who are available on site to provide help and assistance if required. The main house is not normally let out but does have 2 private en suite rooms which can be rented as an adjunct to the two Gites if additional accommodation is needed.  
 
Each property has its own private sun terrace with table/chairs for alfresco dining and all have access to the large enclosed pool in the delightful mature 2 acres of gardens. The solar heated pool measures 12m x 5.5m, with spa massage jets in the steps and also has a solar shower and a covered pergola area for shade. Both Gites, the Cottage which sleeps 7 people and the Pigeonnier, sleeps 2, have been renovated to a high standard and provide a relaxing and peaceful base for your Dordogne holiday. The gites are self-contained with fitted kitchens, fridge/freezers, cookers, microwaves etc and are tastefully and furnished for your total comfort. Television, DVD/Video players & games are all available for your enjoyment, as is a petanque piste, with boules provided if you want to play. 
 
Supermarkets, shops, bakeries and restaurants are only a short drive away in the towns of Eymet and Lauzun. The area itself is renowned for fishing, canoeing, cycling, horseriding, walking in delighful countryside and historic buildings. There is a superb 27 hole golf course some 20 kms west at Chateau des Vigiers and several other courses within easy driving distance including the delightful 18 hole course at Villeneuve du Lot to the south.
