Claddagh cottage is built using the local traditional charentaise stone. It has been completed renovated and retains all of it's original character with a few modern extras! 
 
Living rooms 
 
The ground floor lounge/diner is comfortably furnished with a natural wood floor, original fireplace and a wood burner 
For your enjoyment there is a Sat TV/video ( english )DVD player with a selection of film. 
Upstairs, via it's own staircase is a 2nd smaller lounge area, with views across the open countryside. 
It has a cane sofa & chair, coffee table, bookcase packed with paperbacks, tourist information & guides. 
There is also a portable CD/tape/radio  
 
Bedrooms: 
 
Ground floor double bedroom. A light airy room with comfortable bed,bedside tables & lamps, wrought iron wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table space with mirror and power socket. 
It is conveniently next to the shower room & toilet. 
 
The second bedroom is upstairs via it's own staircase. It is a large L shape mezzanine and has a double bed & 2 singles with planty of storage & hanging space. 
Alternatively the 2 singles can be joined together to form a king. They are robust and do not drift apart when placed together in this way. 
All bed linen & sheets are provided and changed on a weekly basis. 
 
Shower Room & Toilet. 
 
The attractive shower room is on the ground floor. It has a large shower space ( not a cubicle) toilet, hand basin, shaver/hairdryer point (hairdryer provided)and an oil filled radiator to keep the room warm & cosy when needed. 
All towels are provided. 
 
Kitchen facilities: 
 
Overlooks the pool & terrace area. Well equipped with gas cooker/hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment, ironing board & iron. 
Oodles of crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots pans etc., 
All you need to prepare your meal & enjoy a drink. 
There is a washing machine in the barn opposite if needed at no extra charge. 
Tools for barbeque cooking are also provided.
