The Albatros Residencial development has secure gated access and benefits from a superb 20m pool with separate children’s pool and landscaped gardens with water features and it is a mere 7-8 minute stroll from the fabulous white sand beaches of the Mar Menor. We've even provided a shopping trolley for trips to the local supermarket, a cool box for on the beach and a pushchair for those with tired little ones. 
 
Location 
 
Los Alcazares is an old fishing and saltwater spa town on the on the western shore of the Mar Menor. The warm and shallow waters of the Mar Menor are always 3-4 degrees C warmer than the Mediterranean, which makes the resort a mecca for sailing, windsurfing and jet skiing enthusiasts. In town and along it's beaches, there are a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants providing drinks, tapas, meals and entertainment.  
 
Los Alcazares is just a 5 minute drive from the local San Javier/Murcia airport and around 50-55 minutes from Alicante, and is well connected to other places of interest in the region via the recently upgraded motorway network. 
The capital of the region, Murcia City can be reached by bus or car in about 35-45 minutes respectively, or by train from the nearby towns of Balsicas, or Torre Pacheco.  
Murcia has a variety of historic and modern interests including its imposing Cathedral, the Casino, designer shopping and a multitude of flower filled plazas in which you can while away an hour or three with a drink and some tapas. 
A bit closer to home is Spain’s oldest port, Cartagena around a 20 minute drive away. Cartagena also has some great shopping, Roman ruins and the recently re-developed harbour area with the world’s oldest submarine on display.  
 
Nearest airport: 2 miles (Murcia/San Javier). Nearest golf courses: Roda Beach and Golf Resort 1 mile. La Serena 2 miles. The 3 golf courses at the world famous La Manga club are within a 20 minute drive. Nearest bars, restaurants, banks and shops: Less than 3 minutes walk.
