The Ariege region of southern France has something to offer everyone. From historic castles to beautiful views, impressive churches to ancient monuments, and spectacular waterfalls to incredible shopping venues, the area surrounding La Maison De Roquefort is packed full of places to visit and things to do. 
 
The quiet roads and outstanding scenery surrounding the house make it perfect for walking and cycling, while a vast variety of other pursuits can be enjoyed throughout the Ariège and nearby Aude, including skiing at Les Monts d´Olmes (just 35 mins) and Ax-les-Thermes (60 mins), canoeing, donkey treks, horse riding, sailing, climbing, abseiling, canyoning, golf and 4x4 tours. 
 
We have four tastefully decorated rooms with a Royal Family theme. All benefit from electric shutters for your comfort. They ensure your room remains cool throughout the hot summer days and that the children don't wake up too early in the morning (unless you want them to of course). Our washroom facilities are maintained to a high standard and checked regularly each day. 
 
A good breakfast selection is provided within the price of your room and great value, tasty meals are offered most evenings (chargeable) using local, homegrown produce whenever possible.
