Whilst St Samson has a rural location it is only a 10 minute drive to the bustling town of Pontivy with its medieval castle, hypermarkets, restaurants etc. 
Ideally loctaed for visiting both the north and south coasts of Brittany with their intersting towns and vast unspoiled sandy beaches. Visit Vannes, Carnac, St Brieuc, Perros Guirrec etc all within an hours drive. Further afield Rennes, Quimper, Concarneau, St Malo. 
It is only a ten minute drive to the lac de Guerledan with its safe sandy beaches and full range of water sports ( canoeing, windsurfing etc ) 
St Samson is within easy reach of the ferry ports of St Malo and Roscoff ( one hour and a half ) and the airports of Rennes, Dinard and Brest.
