An hour and a half's easy and pleasant drive from the air and ferry ports or 20 minutes drive from the train station at Guingamp (under 3 hours to Paris, less than 1 hour to Rennes with links throughout France and other European countries) will bring you to our hamlet of Kerlouet. Once the medieval city of Guingamp and the motorway junction has been left behind the countryside opens out as the road passes by a river, wooded areas and between the rolling fields into the heart of Cotes d'Armor. 
The peaceful hamlet is situated just 2 kms from the main route from Guingamp to Rostrenen and enjoys the benefits of such, giving homes to foxes, badgers, deer and other wild life as well as a myriad of birds and insects. The many rivers and lakes and their beautiful settings play host to a variety of fish - as well as attracting their predators. A lucky fisherman may not only catch fish but spend time in a quiet, idyllic spot with just wild birds as companions - the unlucky one may just time it badly to catch the fish but benefit from the rest.

Because of it's proximity to the coast, Brittany also enjoys amazing coastlines and wonderful often empty beaches suitable for children of all ages and all activities whether it be building sandcastles, riding horseback, fishing, gathering fresh mussels or oysters, sand or windsurfing, or just walking or sitting.
