Les Hirondelles is situated in the hamlet of Chabanol, near St Etienne-sur-Usson on the edge of the Livradois Forez Regional Park. The property consists of an old Auvergne farmhouse where we offer B&B, and a converted barn which is the gite. The gite has 2 large bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchen, shower room, very large living area with ceiling beams and woodburning stove, and sleeps 6 people comfortably. French windows allow acess to a private terrace and the large, pretty garden. From the garden there are fabulous views over open countryside to the Sancy mountains and ski areas. The countryside abounds with widlfe, wild flowers and birds.  
Les Hirondelles provides a peaceful place to relax with lots to see and do in the surrounding area. There are marked walking paths starting from the end of the drive making Les Hirondelles an ideal place for ramblers and bird watchers. There are lots of opportunties for day trips to places such as Puy en Velay, Puy de Dome, the Sancy and Cantal mountains, Vichy, Clermont Ferrand and Ambert. Shops, restaurants and markets are available in Sauxillanges (8km) and Issoire (16km).
