)  Made' (Mah-day) will be your housekeeper and will prepare a wonderful breakfast for you every morning consisting of fresh juice or yogurt smoothie, home-made bread, fruit pancakes, eggs, fresh fruit, and Balinese coffee.  Made' will also do your laundry daily and keep the house clean and neat.  Rai is the house manager and she works in the Gaia Oasis office.  She can arrange day trips for you to any part of the island for dolphin watching sightseeing, swimming, diving excursions and anything else you want to do. 
 
2)  The house has a new 21" TV/DVD player (also plays CDs), but although there is no reception we have a number of DVDs and CDs.  There is neither an internet hookup nor telephone at the house, and the closest internet cafe is in Singaraja, a 45 minute ride via the small busses called bemos.  This is next to the Hardys supermarket.  
 
The second floor bedroom is air conditioned. 
 
3)  There are only small, local stores in Tejakula selling basic food items, soda and beer plus assorted sundries.  There is also a fresh food market down the road which is frequented almost exclusively by locals but is worth a visit.  If you want to have snacks at the house the best thing to do is arrange with your driver to stop at a supermarket on the way to Villa Sunrise.  There is a large store called Macro on the road from the airport and a Delta Supermarket in Ubud.  The Hardys in Singaraja also has a decent selection of food. 
 
4)   Gaia Oasis serves a small a la carte menu for both lunch and dinner (service may be slow at dinner especially if GO is full).  They also offer an excellent, healthy buffet for lunch and dinner which must be ordered in advance as the chef only cooks for as many people as are eating.  The cost of the buffet is Euro6.50 per person (about  $7.75).  You can get fresh juices, lassies, & shakes as well as beer and soft drinks any time during the day.  GO will run a tab for as long as you are there and you can pay upon checkout (if using a credit card expect a 3% surcharge). 
 
GO also has a pool which you may use for a small fee, unless you eat a meal at the restaurant, in which case the pool is free for that day. 
 
Gaia Oasis is a small collectively owned European spa and retreat which sometimes offers workshops and seminars, but is often just booked by visitors or members.  Most of the time there is a low occupancy rate. 
 
5)  There are no ATM or money exchange bureaus in Tejakula so you must make any money transactions either at the airport or in one of the larger towns or cities. 
 
6)  We have a four pairs of water shoes to use while swimming in the ocean because the beach at the house is rocky.  If you prefer, bring shoes of your own.  The fishermen will take you out both to watch the dolphins early in the morning and to snorkel. This can be arranged through Rai at the GO office.  They also have flippers and masks to rent.
