"Argonauta" stands for "brave navigator", a name given to this house dating back at least 3 centuries, where in 2009 we’re welcoming visitors from any culture for the 19th consecutive year. Today’s Argonauta features 5 ensuite rooms into the main house and 2 new ensuite bedrooms into self-catering Via d’Água House, another old Fajã Grande’s house that we carefully restored.

Dating back at least three centuries, the house has been functioning since 1991 as a small guesthouse "Argonauta" with a resident owner. Today’s Argonauta features 5 improved rooms with bathroom and breakfast included.

Charming self-catering cottage, Fajã Grande-Flores island

Recently restored and furnished to be used as a self catering accommodation, Casa Via d’Água is located in the heart of Fajã Grande (west coast of Flores island), very close to the the small shops, restaurants and the sea (port & swimming area). It sits surrounded by its own garden and neighboring fields, with wonderful views of the countryside stretching up to the dramatic cliffs beneath which Fajã Grande nestles.
