The villa has three double bedrooms (1 x double bed, 2 x twin beds) and two bathrooms, one en suite. There is a large living room with CD & Cassette player with FM radio and satellite TV, dining room and a kitchen with fridge/freezer, gas cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a large barbecue available. The house has solar water heating. 
A telephone is available for incoming and local calls. Our manager provides full backup and lives nearby. She is contactable by phone.  
There is a typical Portuguese bar/restaurant 300 metres from the villa (this reopened in July 2007 following an extensive refurbishment). The nearest big supermarkets are at Messines or Algarve Shopping (near Guia), both are approximately 15-minute drive.  
Sightseeing: visit Silves and its castle, The spa town of Monchique, The Rio Formosa Nature Park near Olhao, the picturesque town of Alte, Portimao, Faro, Tavira, Lagos and Cape St.Vincent. 
 
Golf: The nearest golf course is at Salgados (20 minutes drive), other courses along the coast from Quinta da Lago, Vale de Lobo and Villamoura (45 minutes drive) to the Lagos area – e.g. Penina (60 minutes drive).Tennis courts can be booked at BelaVista in Albufeira (25 minutes drive). Coaching is also available if required. More facilities at Balaia and Vale do Lobo. 
 
Family activities: - Water Parks – Aqualand (25 mins drive), Slide and Splash (40 mins drive). Crazy World has crazy golf, quad bikes, animal park, pool and restaurant (10 mins drive). Zoomarine has dolphin, seal and parrot shows with fairground rides (20 mins drive). Algarve Shopping – Hypermarket, multi screen cinema showing English language films, 10 pin bowling, shopping, restaurants, bars and fast food outlets.
