In addition to the onsite facilities there are within easy reach numerous local restaurants, bars and shops. Another draw is the Golf, with the Vita Park Golf Resort opening its first course in June 2008, and a second course under construction will open in 2010. Famous for its wealthy celebrity customers and footballers alike. Both courses are situated by Tuzla Lake, which as well as being a protected area, is also surrounded by a National Park. The Milas Golf Course is a par 71-hole of 5850 meters and is open on a pay and play basis. The Halikarnas Golf Course will be a par 71-hole of 6480 meters and is expected to be a very challenging world-class championship course, suitable for international events. 
The Peninsula is in its own right a beautiful region with at its centre the town of Bodrum. A bustling marina and port with ferries to Kos, night life to suit all tastes, a large Castle, beaches, water sports, sailing etc Additional to Bodrum are many other smaller towns and villages with long sandy beaches and crystal clear waters for swimming & water sports, seaside restaurants, cafés and bars. Many with their own historic sites and points of interest. There are regular minibus services between Bodrum centre and the villages on the peninsula
