*** Casa Vega is set in a private road within a 15 minute walk along a tree lined track to the local village of Santa Cruz Del Comercio. Along the track you find a picnic area, bicycle circuit and outside gym.
The village has two small supermarkets, three bars, two parks and a football pitch with spectacular views.
Ten minutes drive takes you to the Moorish town of Alhama de Granada with its famous gorge, walk it and find the odd fossil. Town boasts pretty churches and a museum where you can find robes dating back to the catholic kings. Visit the old dungeon and walk the narrow streets. Take our tapas tour (small plates of food served with your wine and beer).
There is a municipal pool just ten minutes drive away, open June to September, 10am to midnight!
Lake just 20 minutes drive, ideal for swimming, barbecues and picnics, walking. Pedalos available in summer months. As about sailing.
Most days you will find a market in local villages and Granada and the Alhambra Palace are just a 40 minute drive away. Visit also whitewashed villages and the fort town of Moclin.
Antequera, Cordoba and Seville are all driving distance. Nearest coastal resort only an hours drive, the Sierra Nevada with skiing just and hour and a half.
The owners have an outdoor activity company and can provide a range of activities for families and groups as a whole.
