Kerral is a traditional Breton cottage with a contemporary interior. It was extensively refurbished in 2009 and accommodates two in exceptional comfort. It is ideal for a couples just to 'get away from it all' and enjoy a relaxing holiday in the heart of Brittany.

The Property
Kerral is a charming, traditional cottage which we have extensively refurbished for 2009. There are just three ground floor rooms: a large, bright studio living space with new kitchen, dining and living areas leads to a roomy, comfortable double bedroom and a WC/shower room. It is very comfortable and relaxing after a hard day's hiking, swimming or dozing on the beach. With electric heating, the cottage is very cosy in winter and cool in summer. Everywhere is well furnished and pleasantly presented. Upstairs is an empty, closed loft. Outside there are extensive private gardens and a large lawn with excellent views over farmland and forests. There is a BBQ area with outdoor furniture provided for relaxing in hot weather. It is set about 50 metres from a quiet road and will be fully prepared for your visit with our English speaking neighbour on hand to give you the keys and show you round.

The south facing cottages are safely located in the heart of a former farming community within their own extensive grounds and gardens with good rural views. They are just one kilometre from the pretty village of Ploerdut with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, post office, church and medical facilities. A further five kilometres brings you to Guemene sur Scorff with all amenities including a good supermarket with cheaper petrol. Traditional markets are all around on most days of the week. There is a large, scenic inland lake within 10 minutes drive with a safe sandy beach for bathing, sailing and boat hire with a cafe on the shoreline. Walking, cycling, horse riding and golf are popular activities easily available. Brittany is full of attractive historical and cultural sites and many are close at hand. The cosmopolitan beaches of the south coast are within 40 minutes easy drive. Breton culture remains strong and fans of Celtic music, dance and folk lore will find much to discover in the summer months. The sun shines for 2200 hours a year and even in winter, a sunny day is never far away.
