Le Manoir de La Foye

We are Nick and Chania and between us we have fourty four years experience in owning and running self-catering businesses. We now own and run this beautiful complex of five gîtes in the Charente Maritime. We know holidays are very important so it is our aim to make sure that everything is perfect so that you have a relaxing and memorable visit to France. The property was formerly a Cognac distillery, which has now been converted into this complex

L'Ecurie

South facing, L'Ecurie is a recent barn conversion carried out with great care and attention to detail. It is part of the same long barn from which La Grange has been converted. Everything is conveniently arranged on the ground floor. The property has two double bedrooms, plus a third smaller bedroom. There is plenty of living space, plus an excellent verandah for al-fresco dining which looks out onto a lawned garden.

Le Gite du Puits

Recently restored and renovated, Le Gîte du Puits is very homely and comfortable, sleeping up to four people. Located in the grounds of a former Cognac distillery, the gîte adjoins La Ferme and there is an interconnecting door, which is kept locked unless the same party books both properties.

La Grange

Built in the 1820s, the property is a recent barn conversion carried out with great care and attention to detail. The accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), and a large open plan kitchen/living area covering the entire ground floor of the property. La Grange has been designed to provide year-round comfort with full central heating, and is therefore ideal for long winter lets.

Le Gite du Portail

This is a delightful and spacious, two bedroom stone gîte in an enclosed courtyard. This gîte has been carefully renovated and recently modernised to a very high standard, offering spacious accommodation for up to four people. Le Gîte du Portail is surprisingly large inside with thick stone walls, making it beautifully cool in summer and very cosy in the winter.

La Ferme

La Ferme offers very spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to six people comprising three bedrooms. Built in 1824, this south-facing Charentaise stone house has been splendidly renovated to a very high standard whilst retaining all its original charm and atmosphere. La Ferme adjoins Le Gîte du Puits and there is an interconnecting door which is kept locked unless the same party books both properties.
