EL APARTAMENTO, hidden just outside PUNTALÓN village, 3kms East from MOTRIL on the COSTA TROPICAL DE GRANADA. Easy access from 3 International airports; GRANADA, MALAGA or ALMERIA all within 75 minute drive.
The immediate area around the property is mainly agricultural with fruit and vegetable growing being more important to the local economy than tourism. This is changing rapidly as more Northern Europeans discover the charms of Granada Province. Traditionally popular with Spanish holiday-makers, the area is now becoming more cosmopolitan, particularly around the resort towns of Almuñecar and Salobreña.
However, Motril remains very Spanish - holiday here to enjoy a slower pace of life, good Mediterranean food and wine at low, low prices (free tapas!) siestas and village fiestas!
Many varies beaches within a fifteen minute drive including; small coves and long sandy stretches, some water sports, good diving, swimming and nudism.
Easy day trips out to; Granada city & Alhambra, La Alpujarra, Lecrin Valley, Cabo de Gata, Nerja, Orgiva and Malaga.
