Hibiscus Cottage is a delightful small house located on a quiet complex, close to the beach.  
 
The house has a kitchen with French windows which open on to a ground floor patio area with outdoor table and chairs. The living area has air-conditioning and comprises a lounge area with sofa and comfortable chair. In the winter the open fire in the lounge burns wood and there is additional electric heating. The dining area with dining table and chairs; utility cupboard and bathroom.  
 
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with two single beds which can be made up with single or double bedlinen. A second bedroom has a single bed and leads onto a first floor terrace. From this there is an outdoor staircase leading to a roof terrace with views of the sea and mountains.

*** Antalya airport is less than hour by car from the house on a good road. Airport transfers or car hire can be arranged. The complex has its own car park at one side but there are no cars within the site, making it very quiet and peaceful. The house is part of a complex of similar traditional Turkish houses that stretches down the hillside to the beach. There is a hotel to one side where facilities including a swimming pool, tennis court and spa can be used for a daily fee. 
 
Hibiscus Cottage is one of the houses closest to the sea, and a short walk through a grassy area with a playground takes you to the section of the beach reserved for those staying on the site. The beach runs for 26 miles and is sandy with shallow waters. Watersports, horse riding and a viewing pier can be found here, as well as beautiful sunsets at dusk.  
 
The centre of the town of Side can be reached in ten minutes by car/dolmus or by walking along the beach for an hour. Side offers an amphitheatre, a museum, ruins, shops, restaurants and the amazing Temple of Apollo on its headland. Within an hour's drive of the house you can find the ancient town of Perge, the intact Aspendos amphitheatre with performances in the summer, the waterfalls of Manavgat and the Taurus mountains. There is also the new resort of Belek which boasts championship level golf courses. A car is not necessary as there are many touring trips available and the local dolmuses and taxis can be found on the main road that is five minutes' walk away. 
 
There is no shortage of restaurants close by and there is a small food store on the site. Side has a market twice weekly and there is a larger market in the nearby town of Manavgat. A large supermarket, Migros, can be found in Side and Manavgat.  
 
The owner can arrange for flowers, welcome packs and a Turkish meal to be arranged in the house. A management agent speaks English and is always on hand and contactable in case advice or assistance be required.
