The Property
The villa is on an elevated position with spectacular far reaching views of the sea to the South and West to Sagres, additionally you can see the Cape St Vincent light from the roof terrace. With 360 degree views within a tasteful and spacious development in Quinta da Fortaleza. Quinta da Fortaleza is a quiet coastal location away from the main hustle and bustle of the tourist areas but within easy reach if you want to venture out. The villa is about 1 mile west of Burgau, Burgau is a small traditional Portuguese fishing village with all the amenities that would complement your stay at the villa. You can also walk to two beaches in approx 10 mins - Cabanas Vehlas with beach bar & Boca da Rio.

The villa sleeps 4 adults comfortably although it is possible to have 5 in the villa but only if the 5th person is a baby or child. Please ask if required.

*** Traditional fishing villages of Burgau and Salema are nearby, Burgau about 1 mile to the East and Salema approx 4 miles to the West. Both have fabulous sandy beaches and are located on the edge of a natural park with miles of stunning coastline stretching westwards to Cape St Vincent.
Lagos is about 15 minutes by car and has all the attractions of a Portuguese regional capital with traditional fish and vegetable markets as well also having cobbled areas with various food, clothing, artefact, toy shops, banks, telephones etc. There are also plenty of bars, restaurants and night clubs. Lagos also has a marina where you can take boat trips, including dolphin watching.
For Golfers, the villa is ideally situated for visiting many of the nearby Golf Courses, the nearest being Parque da Floresta and Boavista.
You are spoilt for choice for sightseeing, various day trips could take you as far as the Monchique Mountains or to the most westerly European tip of land at Cape St Vincent.
Local activities such as cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing are all available nearby.
To stock up for your week's holiday, there is a supermarket in Budens which is about a 10 minute drive from the villa. Budens is a typical Portuguese village.

To book the villa we would require a 25% Deposit upon Booking with the Balance being paid no later than 8 weeks prior to the rental. We also request a £150 Security Deposit, which is fully refundable, subject to Terms & Conditions.
Linen/towels are provided but please note that we do not provide pool/beach towels.
