Four rooms downstairs and two up, furnished in locally handcrafted mahogany furniture. Each room has ensuite facilities with hot water, a/c and fans. All look out onto the garden and the river beyond. Meals can be taken on the jetty or in the restaurant all with river views. Boat transfers to the beach, river tours, island tours. Fresh sea food and Sri Lankan rice and curries. Western food also prepared to your choice.

The Property
Ganga Garden is a small, friendly, informal hotel set in tranquil gardens on the banks of the Bentota River (Ganga means river in Singhalese). We are situated in the town of Aluthgama between Beruwala and Bentota on the South West Coast of Sri Lanka.
Ganga Garden is hidden away from the main road and the hustle and bustle. You can relax in the shade of the gardens or sit on the jetty watching life go by on the river.
When you wish to venture out there is easy access to both Beruwala and Bentota beaches by boat or three wheeler or even walking. Water sports and fishing trips can be arranged or you can fish from the jetty. Bring your rod!
Ayurvedic treatments can be arranged and tailor made to your special needs.
Our staff are very friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Our chef will cook to your taste and choice.

All four garden rooms have balconies, garden views, ensuite facilities with hot water, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and are of an extremely high standard. Each room is tastefully furnished with handmade mahogany furniture.

On the first floor there are two larger double ensuite bedrooms with air conditioning. There is also a spacious fully-furnished private sitting area and outside a large sun terrace looking out onto the river.

Ganga Garden is situated approximately a two hour drive from the airport, depending on the time and traffic.
Trips can be arranged locally to visit temples, turtle farm and the famous Brief Garden.
There are many local restaurants close by and we usually have a music night every Saturday for those who like entertainment or just a drink to sit and listen.
