On the 1st floor there are 2 twin bedrooms and the bath/shower room. The 2nd floor consists of a very large open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Set above the living area is a mezzanine floor with double bed and adjoining sitting area. The property has private parking.

The Property

The Chapel Apartment is a stylish new 3 bedroom property in Penzance that provides an ideal holiday base for West Cornwall. 
 
The apartment is on 3 levels and has been built and furnished in a modern ‘loft’ style.  
 
On the first floor there are two twin bedrooms and the bath/shower room. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. 
 
The second floor consists of a very large open plan kitchen, dining and living room. The kitchen is fitted out to a high standard. The dining area has seating for 6. The adjoining living space provides two large sofas, a hi-fi system and flat screen digital TV. This is an ideal and very comfortable space for families or groups of friends to relax in. 
 
Set above the living area is a mezzanine floor that has a double bed and adjoining sitting area. At night the bedroom area can be screened off from the rest of the apartment. The mezzanine floor has a stunning outlook over the sea towards St.Michael’s Mount. 
 
The property has its own private parking for one car. In the lobby area outside the apartment there is storage space for boots, beach equipment and surf boards.  
 
If your preference is to avoid using your car altogether then there could be nowhere better suited than the Chapel Appartment. Penzance railway station is only a 5 minute easy walk away and there are regular services to Bristol, London and beyond. From Penzance there are good local public transport links.  
 
Please note that the Chapel Apartment is a no smoking property. Pets are allowed but please ring us to discuss this before making your booking. 
 
The Chapel Apartment is occasionally used by the owners as their own holiday home and has been equipped to a very high standard throughout. There are many property lets that are optimistically described as ‘luxury’. We won’t make this boast for the Chapel Apartment – you can decide for yourself.

The Chapel Apartnment is equipped to a high standard with new furnishings and equipment thoughout(and unlike many holiday lets, it is not full of discards from the owners own home).  
 
We have tried to anticipate everything that you would need for your holiday (e.g. i-pod interconnect to the main hi-fi, coolbox and thermos for picnics, beach equipment storage, hairdryer, iron etc.)

Location Description

*** The Chapel apartment is located in the heart of Penzance. There is a good selection of shops, galleries, restaurants, bars, and a cinema all within easy walking distance. Also nearby is Penzance harbour and waterfront which includes the Art Deco outdoor lido. 
 
Penzance has become an increasingly popular holiday centre in recent years and now boasts some of the finest dining in Cornwall. And yet even in high season the town is still relaxed and lacks the frantic crowding of St. Ives. 
 
Nearby you will find the busy fishing port of Newlyn where you can buy an outstanding choice of fresh seafood and a little further along the coast (3 miles) is the picturesque harbour of Mousehole. On the other side of the bay lies the famous St. Michael's Mount 
 
Penzance is also the gateway to the Lands End peninsula and a short drive brings a huge range of superb beaches, hidden coves and stunning coastal walks within reach. Easily accessible by car or public transport is the delightful but busy St.Ives and its Tate Modern Gallery, the renowned Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount and the and the hugely successful Eden Project.  
 
It is also easy to visit the Scilly Islands from Penzance. If you are staying at the Chapel Apartment you can simply pack your picnic and walk down to catch a ferry or helicopter for a day trip.
