*** Brittany is a beautiful unspoiled region in the Northwest of France, full of charm and character.The pace of life in the region is slow and relaxing.

There are so many beautiful lakes in the area around Callac you are really spoilt for choice. At many of them you can enjoy water sports including water skiing, kayaking and canoeing. 
The Brittany coast is only a short drive away. Locquirec is approx 35 min drive from Callac. It has lovely beaches which are safe for children. There is a lovely harbour and you will find bars and restaurants where you can enjoy local seafood. 
There are also many lovely beaches all along the coast line, the nearest ones to Callac being St.Michel en Greve, Perros Guirec, Plestin les Greves to name but a few. Generally most beaches can be reached within 35 –50 minutes drive.Perros Guirec has many water sports and beach activities.You can also get boat trips to Archipel Des Sept Iles where you can view many varieties of birds.If you like coastal walks there are many available to you along the Pink Granite Coast.And don't forget this coast line in Brittany is famed for its pink granite cliffs. 
Gorges du Corong is an area of natural beauty featuring giant boulders with streams cascading through the gorge. The whole of this area is steeped in legends of King Arthur.Walk through a wooded valley with glacial rocks as high as a house balanced on each other.Only 15 mins drive from Callac the gorge is the perfect place for a walk and a picnic.
