Welcome to Casa Nora - our island paradise home. Big Al and I (Nora) moved to El Yaque, Margarita Island a few years ago because of the spectacular windsurfing and kitesurfing here in El Yaque. For enthusiasts of these sports, this beach is the best place in the world for windsurfing or kitesurfing. And the village of El Yaque is possibly the only real surf town left in the world. Our village is full of cool surf shops, excellent restaurants and beach bars, and excellent windsurfers and kitesurfers! 
We built our Bed & Breakfast on a little hill about 300 metres from the beach. The area is a quiet, upscale neighbourhood, with fantastic views of the mountains, the lagoon and the sea. Our beautiful tropical garden, with palm trees and colourful flowers is the perfect place to lie in a hammock and watch the sunset. Or to take a refreshing dip in our swimming pool! 
Casa Nora is designed in the rustic tradition that we call Caribbean Chic. With beautiful terracotta tiled floors, big arched windows, and lots of indoor and outdoor chill out areas, our guests are guaranteed a relaxing and casual atmosphere. Combined with the rustic charm, we also offer the latest in technology - unlimited broadband, wireless Internet, satellite TV, air conditioners in every bedroom, laundry and maid services, and a saline swimming pool! We also offer airport pick-up and drop-off. 
At Casa Nora, we offer two bedrooms for rent in our main house, as well as a self-sufficient 'casita' or little house. The casita offers a kitchen with microwave, small refridgerator, coffee machine, and cook top. The casita has its own bathroom, and sleeps two people in a double bed. The bedrooms in the main house also sleep two each, and have access to the large bathrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioners and fans for maximum comfort. All guests of Casa Nora enjoy a home-made, large breakfast consisting of fruit, breads meats and cheeses, various dishes made of eggs, juices etc.

The village and beach of El Yaque is a geniune surf town. All of the surfers that you meet out on the water, you will probably run into while dining out in one of the 18 restaurants in the village, or while having a Happy Hour beer at one of the many beach bars.  
The restaurants here offer a wide variety of cuisines and taste sensations, from Thai food, to Italian food, to Mexican food, to barbeque, to great fresh seafood. And of course, fantastic pizza! 
Our village offers four great surf shops that carry all of the latest and coolest surf gear and clothing! 
There are several after dining bars in El Yaque, that offer pool tables, live music, and other shows. 
Porlamar, the main city on Margarita Island, is only a 20 minute taxi ride away, for those who want to explore. Porlamar is full of hundreds of great restaurants and bars, as well as shopping malls, spas, cinemas and grocery stores. 
At Casa Nora, we can also arrange for day tours for our guests. These tours include touring the island's historical locations, touring the island's beaches, going on a yacht trip to a nearby island, mountain biking tours, scooter rentals, yoga classes and much, much more!
