The town ot Turgutreis is situation at the furthest tip of the historic Bodrum Peninsula and has fantastic sunsets overlooking a horizon of ornamental islands.
The Bodrum Peninsula is small and is very easy to travel to all other small towns. For those who are adventurous the area has an excellent bus service called the dolmus. These are new and reliable mini buses that offers services to Gumusluk and Bodrum with connections to all other towns often for less than a pound.
Gumusluk village is close by and is famous for fish restuarants where one can delight in an excellent fish supper
