Over the last 5 years Bansko has received over 50million Euros of funding to make it the best Ski resort in Bulgaria - with a new 8 seat Gondola, and 23 other ski lifts queueing is kept to a minimum, and the pistes are exceptionally well maintained.  State of the art snow cannons ensure there is good snow coverage whatever the weather!. 
 
Apres ski forms a large part of any ski holiday and the advantages of Bansko are the fantastic home cooked local food together with superb value for money - a must for any family!

Travelling to Bansko couldn't be simpler; there are direct flights from Gatwick, Heathrow and Manchester and more routes are being added all of the time - direct flights operated by British Airways (www.britishairways.com); and Air Bulgaria (www.air.bg), Wizz Air, EasyJet,  
 
We can arrange transfers from the airport for about £50 each way (for four people) and car hire is also available either from the normal sources or locally (www.rentomobile.com) which is the company we use.  Driving to Bansko is relatively easy, and it is about 2.5 hours drive from Sofia airport.
