The Property
Casa Monica is a well appointed three double bedroomed house which sleeps 6 comfortably in this exclusive development in Figueira. It faces south west, enjoying all day sun and has a well maintained back and front garden surrounding a large shared heated swimming pool with separate small children's pool.
It is a well designed house giving a friendly but spacious feel with day area on the first floor to take advantage of the views across a "conservation area of outstanding natural beauty" as far as Cape St Vincent in the west whose lighthouse can be seen in the distance at night. The large L shaped sitting room has dining recess close to the separate fully fitted kitchen and french doors which lead out onto a sun terrace which has a large dining table for outdoor eating and overlooks the back garden below with its terrace for sun loungers, BBQ, dining area and a planted section offering some shade as well as sunshine.
All bedrooms have access by french doors either to the front or back gardens.

Quinta Da Aldeia is in Figueira with its brightly coloured houses and cobbled streets. There are several shops for most essentials and several good bars and restaurants.
Three mins away by car is a large supermarket.
Close by are two beaches & 5 minutes by car is Salema Beach;a busy little fishing village ideal for families with its beauitful sand, beach bars and restaurants.
Within 5 mins is Parque da Floresta Golf Resort where all guests enjoy a 30% discount on green fees.
The famous surfing west coast beaches are 20 mins drive west and Lagos with its many shops & restaurants is 20 mins drive east.
There are many good restaurants in the area and there is a book in the house with owner's & guests' recommendations along with suggestions of activities/things to do.
*** Figueira is 1 hour's drive west from Faro Airport and a 3 mins drive from Salema.
The Western Algarve offers a rich variety of things to do for all ages...
The large shared pool is gated for privacy and there is a second paddling pool for small children.
There are several Beaches nearby and others in the west coast which are about 20 minutes drive by car.
There are over ten first class golf courses within 40 minutes of the house. The nearest being Parque Da Floresta which is 2 miles away. Guests have a 30% discount on green fees here. Here you will find Tennis, Archery, Bowls, several Large Swimming Pools, Bikes for hire, Sauna and Massage/Physio.
There is a Surf School at Amado beach which is within 15 minutes away. At Luz you will find Sailing, Scuba Diving, Wind Surfing and Deep Sea Fishing.
