If you would like to take a 'real' Italian holiday away from the tourist traps but knowing that you are near enough to a large town to satisfy all your cravings, then this apartment is for you. The property is within a medeival town full of character situated amongst beautful countryside. You might choose to spend time walking, painting or just enjoying the beauty of the countryside. Alternatively you could drive just 25 mins to the beach or shops in the town of San Remo or take a trip by road or rail further along the coast and explore the Italian Riviera from Ventimiglia to Genoa.

The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary utensils to ensure your self catering holiday is enjoyable. The town has sufficient shops to cater for your daily needs however, you don't need to cook as there are also 4 restaurants, one within 2 minutes walk of the apartment.

Ceriana is a medeival town situated 13 klms from the major tourist town of San Remo. Nice airport is less than one hour's drive away and Genoa two. You may prefer to fly to Pisa and drive along the autostrada enjoying the scenery as you go.
The nearest beach is situated in Bussana, 20 mins drive from the apartment. There are plenty of other beaches to choose from including those in San Remo which can be easily reached by bus.
There is a frequent bus service from Ceriana into San Remo and from there you can take either bus or train all along the coast visiting places such as Nice, Monaco, Ventimiglia, Dolce Aqua and Genoa.
The town holds many festivals throughout the summer which are all well worth attending. It is particularly famous for its sausage festival and choirs.

The prices featured in this advertisment are for 1-2 persons sharing the apartment. Please add an extra £50 per week for 4-6 persons. Babies using the cot will not be charged.
The apartment makes a wonderful base to explore the area but if you would like to experience some 'real' Italian then stay in the town and soak up the atmosphere. Most locals only speak Italian but are so friendly and helpful that there is no real language barrier.
It is very peaceful as there are no cars allowed within the town. You can drive up to and around the town but not up to the apartment which is found along an alley way behind the church. Ceriana is full of history and well worth exploring.
