Forest view is set on 10 acres, including a 1.5 acre lake, situated next to the Forét de Saussay.
Graveled parking area to the front of the property. Views of the surrounding area from the rear. We use part of our Orchard as the lawn area, where you can sit under a Cherry tree, or hopefully sit on a sun lounger in the sun shine to top up your tan.
Also at the rear of the Gité, if the weather is unkind, we have a covered area for you to sit under. BBQ & Patio table & chairs.

*** Forest view, is situated in the village of Dorceau, 4.5 km from the small town of Remalard.
The area is an ideal walking, cycling area. Lots of small Rural tracks, forest walks & country lanes for you to explore.
The town offers some Shops, Bars, Restaurants & Supermarkets. A small market is held every Monday morning.
Nogent le Rotrou is the nearest larger town, it is a 15 minute car journey from Forest view, here you will find a charming French town, offering you lots to do, From visiting a local Chŕteau to using the leasure centre, or visiting the market on a Saturday morning.
10 minutes drive you will find a lovely cathedral at a small quaint village called Chappelle Montligeon, ( check it out on the net, its a really nice place to visit)
We are only a 50 minute drive from Le Mans. The town is a really nice place to visit, for shopping & sight seeing, also they do some sort of racing there !
Chartre, well worth a visit, you can easily spend a day walking around.
We have a mainline railway station only 5 minutes away by car, where you can take a train to visit Paris.

At Forest view Karen holds painting workshops.Suitable for everyone. If you have always wanted to have a go, but never got around to it, then this is ideal you !
The workshops run on a Tuesday & Thursday, starting at 10.30 & ending around 4pm, during this time you start with a blank paper & finish with a masterpiece ! !
The workshops incorporate different mediums, i.e watercolour, acrylic & pastels. The price of the workshop includes a light lunch. The workshops will only run with a minimum of 2 persons.
Also available, we have an 18 hole mini golf course.
Fishing is available, our 1.5 acre lake. The lake is stocked with Roach, Rudd, Perch (2.5lb), Tench & Carp (18lb) weights quoted are what has been caught so far !
Horse riding is available at a local Chŕteau.
