Ideal location in centre of Edinburgh close to the historic Royal Mile and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. A few minutes' walk from Scottish Parliament, so an ideal place to stay if you have business at the Parliament. For family history researchers, the main Scottish Records Office is also only a few minutes walk away. With it's own private parking space in the courtyard of the former Craigwell Brewery, Craigwell Cottage has all you need if you're looking for a base to tour Scotland too.

Bedrooms are sited on ground floor, with open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen on the upper floor of the cottage. Reached via a winding staircase, so may not be suitable for some people who find stairs difficult to negotiate.

*** Craigwell Cottage is in Nether Craigwell, EH8 8DR off Calton Road, Edinburgh, Scotland. Opposite Campbell's Close which runs between the Canongate section of the Royal Mile and Calton Road. 
 
Close to Palace of Holyroodhouse, Scottish Parliament, Dynamic Earth, Royal Mile and Holyrood Park. Within walking distance of most of the attractions of central Edinburgh including Princes Street and the OMNI Centre at Greenside Place. Also within walking distance of Waverley Station, Edinburgh's principal railway terminal, and near a direct bus route (Lothian Buses no. 35) to Edinburgh Airport. 
 
With it's own parking space it means you can also use Craigwell Cottage as base for touring Scotland.
